I am filming every moment of drawing this picture. When I finish it, I will combine all of the videos into one compilation, and speed it up. For now, I am releasing one video of the process per week. I typically condense an hour of footage into two minutes.

Special edition video! Before I release Part 20, I wanted to take a look what happened in the first 10 videos. I condensed the first 10 hours of drawing into about 2.5 minutes. Detailing town and adding preparing a tree for detailing. 45 minutes condensed into 2.
Putting leaves on a scrub oak, which is a kind type of oak tree that's more like shrubbery. We have lots of them in Colorado.

Lots of progress on the peak! I used 5h, 9h, 5B, and 7B pencils, and 0.005 and 0.8 Micron ink pens. This is nearly 2 hours of work condensed into about 2 minutes 35 seconds.
In these 50 minutes of work condensed into less than 2 minutes, I started inking buildings and roads. Most of the changes are near the center of the 3x4 foot drawing. Filmed 11/6/2023. Uploaded 5/11/2024.

I snapped this picture from my car, while parked. The shadows and snow make it easy to see the shape of Pikes Peak.
